Wow, welcome to the intriguing world of Sandra Brown! This is my first book of hers to read, but I have heard from many of her loyal fans that all of her books just as fantastic.
Play Dirty is about an ex-NFL all-star player, Griff Burkett, who has just spent the last five years in prison for cheating in one of his football games by intentionally losing it and accepting big bucks to do so. Shortly after he is released from prison, he is propositioned by a very powerful and well-respected businessman and his perfect wife. They present an insanely obscure job for him, and he reluctantly accepts.......... The rest is for you to read yourself! =)
If you haven't read any of Sandra Brown's works, and if you are at all interested in crime thrillers, romance (sometimes heavy and graphic) and suspense, then she is the author for you. I've already gotten three friends hooked. Next Sandra Brown for me, Hello, Darkness!
